HISTORY

Marilyn was living with the Greenes in Weston, Connecticut when this image was taken in February of 1955. Milton photographed Marilyn in his daylight studio he had converted from a barn. This casual sitting, which was done with nothing but a white background, sweatshirt and a scarf, produced this spontaneous playful movement. This image is available as part of our Portraits of an Era Limited Edition collection introduced in 2000.
