HISTORY

This original photograph was done in 1966 under assignment for Life magazine. Milton H. Greene and Joe Eula discovered Lauren Hutton in New York at 18 years old and the outcome was this famous nude sitting. The final result was created by sandwiching 2 separate photographs. One of Lauren Hutton and the other of an unevenly lit burlap background. The color was later enhanced dramatically with the dye-transfer process.
