Marilyn Monroe Art Print - Bus Stop - BS-0026Learn More About This Great Item....HISTORYMilton Greene and Marilyn Monroe created Marilyn Monroe Productions, and produced the movie “Bus Stop” (followed by Prince and the Showgirl), the film many believe to be her finest acting. Milton took this candid of Cherie during the filming. Creating the makeup for the look of Cherie (Marilyn’s character), Milton felt that she would never get any sun since Cherie slept during the day and was inside at night, so she should appear pasty white. Milton was concerned with the consistency of this balance and worked closely with Joshua Logan the movie’s director. Milton redid all of the lighting on the set and at the end of filming, Logan graciously acknowledged his vision and they remained friends until his death.
