Milton was one of the first photographers to shoot fashion on location and in 1953 he went to Ireland to shoot a new rising designer, Sybil Connelly. Sybil’s house model was Ann Gunning and the camera loved her. She was a natural. This introduction from Life, launched both Sybil and Ann’s careers worldwide. Ann dons a beautiful crinoline dress for this photograph.
